One of the most prominent fashion designers in history is Coco Chanel. The longevity of her fashion line throughout the decades represents the significance of her designs. Chanel is known for setting and creating trends, including one of her most notable trends, the Little Black Dress, which brought together women of all different classes, as its simplicity made it easy for anyone to be fashionable. Unlike her male counterparts of the time, Chanel had the mind of a woman, and therefore accounted for comfort and simplicity when designing her clothing. Her style was simple, practical, and elegant, yet also revolutionary; she was just daring enough to create tracksuits and popularize masculine styles for women, which, before Chanel, was unimaginable to women.
